Conveniently located within 30 miles of the KI Sawyer International Airport, we can provide transportation to and from your flights. About your guide:
Born and raised right here in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, I’ve always enjoyed spending my time outdoors. My wife Michelle and I have been married 15 years, and have 4 children. We spend our free time doing every sport and outdoor activity that we can fit into our schedule. Although challenging at times, I try extremely hard to involve my children in most everything that I do.
I’ve spent my entire life in the woods and on the water. It has not only taught me a lot about the wildlife that inhabits the land, but also many valuable life lessons. Having children and introducing them to the outdoors at a young age has added another complexity to enjoying outdoor recreation. The last 14 years of getting my own children outside have taught me a lot about patience, how to be a better communicator, to always be safety conscious, and to never forget the snacks. These experiences have best prepared me to guide you on your next adventure.
Along with a lifetime of hands-on experience outdoors, I currently hold an up to date CPR and AED certificate, issued through the National CPR Foundation, as well as a current Wilderness First Aid certificate issued through Survival Med.
